CONDITIONS
Elbow pain can be caused by an injury or condition that affects the joints, tendons, ligaments, muscles or bones in that area. Many things could contribute to this pain, including: playing sports, overuse of the arm, manual labor duties, or trauma-related injuries. A patient with an elbow injury may complain of stiffness, swelling in the joint, pain with movement or at rest, difficulty gripping things, weakness or numbness/tingling. A Physical Therapist will prescribe a treatment plan that helps to restore pain-free movement and strength to the elbow.
