CONDITIONS
Hip pain and injuries can impair a patient’s ability to walk, perform their work and household responsibilities or participate in sports/hobbies. Problems at the hip joint can arise for many reasons, including injuries, overuse, a fall/fracture, or referred pain from another location in the body such as the Sacroiliac Joint or low back. Symptoms of hip dysfunction include: pain with prolonged sitting or standing, pain at the groin or buttocks area, decreased range of motion, or difficulty or pain with walking/stairs. A physical therapist can determine the cause of this pain, and develop a treatment plan to restore a patient to a pain-free level of function.
