CONDITIONS
The shoulder is the most mobile joint in the body with the biggest degree of movement and therefore, is extremely prone to injury and pain. Shoulder injuries are frequently the result of falls, sports-related injuries and repetitive overuse. Many patients with shoulder pain will complain of limited range of motion particularly with overhead activities, decreased strength, difficulty sleeping on that side, trouble lifting heavy items, and impaired ability to perform daily activities and work responsibilities. A physical therapist will identify the cause of the pain and treat the condition accordingly.
